Calla Voice

Free 30-day beta download

Open beta · 30-day free trial · no card, no account, no sign-up form · Windows 10/11

Every install comes with a 30-day free trial — just your name. Calla Voice runs best on a PC with an NVIDIA graphics card, and adapts itself to smaller machines automatically. Below: the Windows program, a small Chrome extension for clicking things on web pages by name, and two optional companion apps.

Already running Calla Voice? The same download upgrades you in place and keeps your commands and settings. As a precaution, export your profile first (gear on the status bar → Export my profile…, or say “export my profile”) — the installer also saves a copy of your settings in a settings-backup folder next to the program.

1. Calla Voice for Windows

Download CallaVoice-Setup.exe (about 1 GB — includes the speech engine and NVIDIA support)

If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway. The installer is signed; the warning appears because the signature is new.

2. Chrome extension

Calla Voice Browser Control in the Chrome Web Store — click Add to Chrome. Needed for “click anything” and “show numbers” on web pages; everything else works without it.

3. Companion apps (optional)

Two small programs built to be driven by voice from Calla Voice. Both install per-user with no admin prompt.

Download Calla Reader PDF — a PDF reader with page thumbnails in File Explorer (about 100 MB)

Download Calla Photo — a photo viewer and light editor (about 65 MB)

Then

Start Calla Voice, type your name (or accept the one it fills in) and start the free trial. Say “help” for the guide, or read the quick start.

It’s a beta: when something goes wrong, click the gear on the status bar → Save a problem report and email the zip to wcr1968@gmail.com — or post on the support forum.
